All Steve Allen furniture is finished by hand using a water based wood stain followed by hand waxing. The wax finish is very forgiving as is the soft wood (pine) and can be easily maintained by polishing with a furniture polish such as Pledge. Do not use furniture polish, which includes any sort of colouring or any abrasive cleaner.
